Install the Budget Genie browser extension and connect it to your YNAB account.
Enrich
Log into your Amazon, Costco, or Target accounts on your browser (if you're not already) and hit the enrichment button in Budget Genie - it will take the wheel, find the missing details for your budget transactions, and send them to YNAB.
Categorize with confidence
Categorize your transactions in YNAB, now with all of the data you need in one place, and your transactions split out by each item. Budget Genie will learn from the categories you use and apply them the next time you buy the same thing.

Who is Budget Genie for?
Budget Genie is perfect for those who shop frequently at Amazon, Costco, and Target and want accurate, detailed categorization of their purchases without the hassle of manual data entry.
How do you handle my data?
Budget Genie accesses just the retailer order information necessary for categorization (E.g., views order history to find a matching order and its contents like item name, quantity, price, etc.).
All transaction data is processed locally in the extension before being sent to your YNAB account to be added to the relevant transactions in your budget. The data is never shared with other third parties, nor is it stored. Once it's transmitted to YNAB it is deleted.
Is it secure?
Yes, very.
Budget Genie works solely on your machine and does not know anything about your login details. It works with your already logged in sessions to Amazon, Costco, and Target, and only performs actions on these sites when you ask it to.
